Prova d'esame (esercizi e teoria)
https://www.unito.it/servizi/lo-studio/studenti-con-disabilita
per ufficializzare la loro situazione.
Mathematics
Registration for exams via Esse3 and within one week before the examination date is mandatory and indispensable. We will not accept registrations received via mail and we will not admit to the examinations students who did not register. In addition, for a better organization of Computer Laboratories, a student who registers for an exam and does not attend the exam without notifying the teachers will not be eligible to take the exam on the following scheduled date.
To take the exam, the student has to bring with them an ID (preferably a University card) and know his/her own University login and password, which they will type on the computer to start the exam.
The exam consists of a quiz and a test to be held in a computer room. There is no possibility to withdraw after the beginning of the examination.
During the examination, it is not allowed to use any electronic device and it is not allowed to read books or notes. It is possible to use the calculator on the computer during the test (and not during the quiz).
It is strictly forbidden to keep mobile phones, tablets, and similar devices nearby during the examination (regardless they are turned off, in a pocket,...) otherwise the student will be excluded from the exam. The presence of one of these devices, even if turned off, will result in immediate expulsion from the classroom and the cancellation of the test.
Basic Skills Quiz
This quiz consists of 5 multiple-choice questions, to verify the basic skills of the student.
The student has 20 minutes to answer correctly to 4 questions at least. The result is: passed or not passed and it is immediately notified to the student at the end of the quiz. Students not passing the quiz cannot take the test.
Test (Exercises and Theory)
This test concerns the topics discussed during lectures and exercise hours; it consists of solving exercises and answering questions of a theoretical or logic-deductive nature.
The maximal mark is 30 and the test is passed with a minimal mark of 18/30.
Both the quiz and the test must be passed during the same examination day: if a student does not pass the test, they will repeat both the quiz and the test.
Information for students of academic years before 2023-24
Students of academic years before 2023-24 have to take the exams with the present rules and program.
Students with disabilities or learning disabilities
Students with disabilities or learning disabilities are kindly requested to contact the teacher at the beginning of the course, to set the learning and examination methods that better fit their situation.
They are also kindly invited to follow the information of the University, available at
https://www.unito.it/servizi/lo-studio/studenti-con-disabilita
to make their situation official.
